J – When I was making coffee date plans recently with a friend of mine she had mentioned that after coffee she would need to head over to The Stork’s Nest to pick up an order she had placed and was excited to get. Because I have not yet been into The Stork’s Nest, and I wanted to hang out with my friend a bit longer I asked if I could tag a long.
Whether of not you have children you always need to know where a good baby store is. Baby showers are all year round plus you have holiday and birthday gifts for those babies that aren’t yours but are family or close friends. This store is full of fun gift ideas, especially if you are headed to a Baby Shower soon.
There are a few sections in the store that are great for new mom gifts. There are Moby wraps for $46, a section for pregnancy & breastfeeding essentials and tons of other ideas I simply don’t have the time to mention. However I will mention for $20 you can get a belly casting kit I think makes a lovely gift for a mom to be.
Another fun Baby Shower gift are these letter and number blocks for $3.50 each. They connect together to spell names or words and would make a darling hanging up in some ones nursery. As a gift this adds a simple but powerful personal touch. These are what my friend came in for. She got both her boys names with sports themed wall hangs. They are so delightful.
I have to admit I am slightly obsessed with these stuffed animals they carry which range in price from $20 to $42. Don’t they look like the coziest thing to snuggle up with? Another favorite gift item I saw was this Paper Dolls book for $15.50. I have a little girl in mind for this who would absolutely love it.
I admire that you are able to find some items made by local companies. Handmade bibs for $10 are available and onesies by Fellini Baby . These go for around $20.
A sweet detail this store has in a children’s play area with mural done by a local artist. A fun little place the kids can hang out while mom and or dad can shop.
